Presentation

VPI Courtage is proposing the conversion of a perfectly located building to create 52 studio apartments, 1 two-bedroom apartment, 7 indoor and 7 outdoor parking spaces and 33 bicycle parking spaces, with annually renewable leases. The plot is ideally located just 50 meters from the Renens train station in western Lausanne. The station is considered the third-largest in French-speaking Switzerland, and benefits from excellent public transport links, which will be further enhanced by the future arrival of tramway 1. Numerous amenities are also available nearby, such as supermarkets (COOP, Migros), fast-food restaurants, etc

Municipality

The commune of Crissier plans to continue growing until 2030. Since 2006, a major land-use and urban planning effort has been underway. The priority is to redevelop former industrial sites into new, innovative, mixed-use neighborhoods, with housing accessible to the middle class.

After several years of studies and administrative procedures, major business centers have been built or are under construction, and will further increase the supply of workplaces. Several district plans adopted by the local council are paving the way for the creation of new neighborhoods.

According to the Swiss Federal Statistical Office, Crissier already merits the status of a Swiss city, given its increasing urbanization and its integration into the Lausanne conurbation. New mobility axes (streetcar, high-speed bus, bicycle paths) will be put into service, and Crissier will benefit greatly from them

Access

The forthcoming construction of a fourth track on the Lausanne / Renens axis will enhance current mobility capacities. Thanks to all these improvements, the number of passengers on the Geneva / Lausanne axis could double.
